Meeting Guidelines
3.    A representative from each business will be given approximately one minute to introduce themselves and their company’s products and services.  Any special offers and/or announcements for your business need to be included in your one-minute presentation.  Please keep your presentation to one minute or less.

4.    Each participant has the opportunity to make announcements and give testimonials about others in the group with whom they’ve done business.  Please limit announcements and testimonials to less than one minute.  These may be timed, depending the number of participants at the meeting.  Announcements and testimonials should NOT include more about you or your business or other.  This is a time to share community information and your positive experiences with other members to the whole group.  Please limit announcements to events in the next three months and testimonials to active businesses who have attended Paulding Business to Business Meetings in the last four weeks.

Please do not make announcements on behalf of other participants.  If someone has an announcement about their business, it needs to be shared during their one-minute presentation or it can be emailed to angela@dawningllc.com to be included in the weekly group email. Please do not make announcements on behalf of businesses who do not participate in Paulding Business to Business meetings.  If an outside business would like to make an announcement, they are welcome to attend the meeting and make an announcement during their one-minute presentation (unless they have been asked to leave the group in the past).

5.    Participants have the opportunity to sign-up to be the Featured Business of the Week on a first-come, first-serve basis.  The person representing the Featured Business is given 1-2 minutes to explain what they are focusing on, types of referral sources they’re looking for, or ask specific questions to the group.  Then, the entire group will take approximately 8 minutes to give advice, make suggestions, give contact information for referrals and referral sources to the Featured Business.

If you would like to participate in the discussion, please raise your hand.  A facilitator will write your name down and call on you in the order received. This brain-storming session should NOT include more information about you or your business.  When contributing to the discussion, you are asked to keep comments short and concise.  If you have additional information that you were not able to share during the discussion, please speak to the Featured Business after the meeting, or make an appointment to meet with them at a later date.

If you are the Featured Business of the Week, it is highly recommended that you bring an additional person to the meeting or ask another participant to take notes for you during the discussion.

6.    If you have a negative experience or a conflict with another business in the group, please bring this to the attention of a facilitator.  Facilitators will attempt to resolve the conflict.  If a resolution cannot be determined, the offending participant will be asked not to return to Paulding Business to Business meetings.    If a participant has been asked to leave the group, and returns to a meeting, further actions will be taken:  the reasons they were asked to leave will be posted anonymously on the emails sent to the group as a whole.  This will serve as a warning to others who may have been interested in doing business with them.  Participants who bring up valid negative experiences will not be named in the email warning.

7.    This is a professional networking group.  Politics and religion are not appropriate topics for this business forum.  If you would like to discuss your political or religious beliefs with other attendees, please make plans to have a private conversation at a later time.

8.    If multiple representatives from one business attend a meeting, only one person may speak about the business.

9.    If a person represents more than one business, they may only speak about one business per meeting.

10.  Multi-level marketing businesses are welcome to attend meetings; however, recruiting of other attendees is not permitted.  The products and/or services can be presented to the group.

These guidelines were developed to benefit and protect the participants of Paulding Business to Business.  Not following these guidelines reflects poorly on your professionalism and your company.

If other participants complain to the facilitators that you have not followed these guidelines, you will receive an email stating the number of complaints and the specific guideline that was not adhered to.  If you receive complaints at three separate meetings in a three month period, you will be asked not to return to the networking group.
